I made this work in 2022 as part of ‘The Pantheon of Waste Deities’ collection.

Okay, cool John. But what materials did you use?

I found the wooden base of this work in a thrift store. The rest of the piece is made from bottle caps, metal lids, and the wooden sculpture itself.

YES…

Gologod is the God of Gold. The statue I found had no face or arms, and I transformed it into something completely new. And gave it an entirely different meaning.

The base statue was originally a faceless and armless piece from a thrift store. Now it’s a god!

(Am I not the coolest, most creative artist out there? 😂)
