I made Alumni in 2024 as part of the Passage collection.

This piece is made from rubber waste found in a swimming pool parking lot, and it’s painted with acrylics on canvas.

YES…

The Passage series is big on change. See.. in life we occasionally come across something we don’t understand. So, we learn. And change and evolve.

Once that’s happened, we suddenly get new opportunities in front of us.

Why?

NO ONE knows.

Let’s just call it the magic of change. The magic of life. Which is exactly what this piece represents.

Duh 👇

It’s always fun to tell people that the materials came from something as mundane as a parking lot. Who would’ve thought such beauty could come from discarded rubber?
