I made this piece in 2022 as part of ‘The Pantheon of Waste Deities’ collection.

Okay, cool John. But what materials did you use?

The Ymar base piece is a 10 kg heating part. I also used textiles, cast iron, wood, metal paint, and pop to complete it.

YES…

Ymar is an anagram of Mary, the mother of Jesus. And the Divine Child in the artwork symbolizes how new ideas and energy are born. And represents the ideas of renewal and expanding our consciousness.

It’s a deeply symbolic piece that not everyone can immediately grasp by just looking at it
