I made this work in 2023 as part of the ‘Symbols of Unity/Signs of Hope’ collection.

I used bottle caps and acrylic paint on canvas. The mouths you see are actually the remains from another work.

I created this piece almost by accident…

When I placed two mouths together, this strange egghead shape appeared. At first, I found it repulsive, but the longer I looked at it, the more I realized it had a story to tell.

The form and technique revealed themselves to me, which is why I titled it ‘Shadow Work.’

And there’s something therapeutic about it (as if it came from my subconscious.)

It looks super sleek and cool on a white wall. The longer you stare at it, the more it starts communicating with you—like some kind of therapist.
